Nurture Nature Wall Art

Inspired by my love of nature. I am very happy with the way this project turned out.

[Note: This SVG design is available for purchase in my Etsy shop. It is included in the Nature bundle. Find link Below.]

Tools Used:

Removable Vinyl
Transfer Paper
Weeder Tool
Trimmer OR Scissors
Cutting Machine (I use Cricut Maker 3)
Wood Piece
Acrylic Paint
Brushes
Paint Markers
Cricut Cutting Mat

STEP ONE: PREP! Layout your design in design space. Each of the drawings on this painting are separate so they can be placed wherever you want. CUT – TRANSFER to wood canvas.

STEP TWO: I transferred the in cuts to the wood canvas so I could paint the background. I chose a grey for the base color and then added a lighter mix grey to give it some contrast.

STEP THREE: Literally watching paint dry over here. Make a hot cup of coffee, watch some TV, do some chores, occasionally walk by and see if it’s dry. 🙂 Finally when it dried I peeled and revealed how it turned out!

STEP FOUR: Paint Marker time! I love paint coloring! Reminds me of being a kid. Just relax and color in the lines. Super easy! I went with white to really make it pop against the grey background.

STEP FIVE: To seal or not to seal? I really liked the matte look of how it turned out so I decided not to seal. While I know they have matte finishes, I loved it the way it was so I left it as is. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. 😀
